I can absolutely understand that you are upset. Just under a week's notice is admittedly not very much time to prepare and implement an update.

But please understand that the update of LiveDocx 1.2 and the discontinuation of 1.0 and 1.1 was the only way to get rid of a bug that made using LiveDocx impossible for some of our customers. LiveDocx 1.2 is based on a different back-end than the previous versions, therefore we could update it instead of discontinuing it as well.

We had two reasons to pick such a short amount of time:

1. We wanted to get rid of the buggy versions as quickly as possible.
2. Since LiveDocx 1.2 is completely backward compatible, the only thing you need to change in your application — or in your wrapper library in case you are using phpLiveDocx — is the web service URL.

For the reasons given, re-instituting LiveDocx 1.0 and 1.1 is not an option.

I hope you can manage to update your applications quickly.
